Adam Goldberg is Coming to Our Festival!
Adam
Goldberg, star of our opening night film, THE HEBREW HAMMER,
will be in attendance at our festival, talking about the film and answering
any questions you may have about him or his career.
Who is Adam Goldberg?
You have definitely seen Adam either on TV or in the movie theatre. A
few years back, Adam played Chandler's slightly obsessive flatmate Eddie
on FRIENDS after Joey moved out. He also starred in such blockbuster films
as SAVING PRIVATE RYAN and A BEAUTIFUL MIND. Adam was most recently seen
in the film, HOW TO LOSE A GUY IN 10 DAYS.
The Hebrew Hammer
A
Jewxploitation spoof in the vein of SHAFT and AUSTIN POWERS, THE HEBREW
HAMMER is the story of Mordechai (Adam Goldberg), a handsome Orthodox
Jew hired by the Jewish Justice League after discovering that Santa's
evil son (Andy Dick) - who has come to run the North Pole after staging
a coup with the help of a reindeer, Blitzen - has plans to eradicate Hanukkah
as part of a nefarious scheme to be the only holiday icon at winter time.
The Hammer joins forces with Esther (Judy Greer), the gorgeous and dangerous
daughter of the world's top Jewish leader, and his friend Mohammed (Mario
Van Peebles), head of the Kwanzaa Liberation Front who fears Santa may
go after Kwanzaa next, to topple the evil Santa and save Hanukkah for
future generations.
